Almoners

Your journey within The Alliance begins as an Almoner.
An `{`Almoner`}` is a highly skilled and generous person whose primary function or duty is in the distribution of alms on behalf of an institution, organization or royal family. The distribution of Alms involves compassionately giving to others as an act of virtue, either materially or in the sense of providing capabilities, financial assistance or higher education, leading to prosperity and elevated conditions for all. The first mention of Almoners was in the 14th century as a person who helped others solve financial and social problems for the purpose of creating stronger ethics, core values and better economic conditions for humanity.

Mavens

A [Maven] is a successful and trusted expert in a particular field, who seeks to pass timely and relevant knowledge onto others. The word Maven comes from the Hebrew word mēvīn, meaning “one who understands”. Mavens do more than just understand the Laws. They live by the laws, principles and core values and have witnessed a personal transformation in their own lives. These select Members serve as mentors and are devoted to helping others attain success financially and in their personal lives. They also take the lead in teaching their peers the secrets to making a broader positive impact in their communities and beyond. Although the origin of the Mavens may date back as early as the 11th century, the term has only been commonly used since the 1960s.

Since it heavily rests on the Mavens for the teaching of others on how to have a large impact, it is vital for them to gain a certain level of influence themselves. They will often be working in or have strong affiliations toward television, film, broadcasting, printed page, social influence and beyond.

In addition to having access to all of the teachings and tools that the Almoners receive, Mavens may also receive special opportunities for advancement or be well positioned for strategic joint ventures and alliances.

Gentry

A [Gentry] is a person of high social position who is in an upper or ruling class. The history of the Gentry class dates back to the 11th century and comes from the old French word genterie, from gentil, meaning “well-bred people of high social class. The Gentry class serve just below the nobility and although they were not from royal lineage, they are entitled to a coat of arms. These wealthy elites serve as the global titans of their day and use their influence, wealth and resources to further the impact of an institution, organization or society. These selected groups tend to align with the Gentry’s ideologies and core values especially when it comes to philanthropic ventures and the distribution of wealth and influence.”

Although most of the Gentry class choose to remain behind the scenes, members have been known to take an active role in the advancement of others by sharing alliances and teaching ones to prosper without compromising their core values or integrity.

Viceroy

A `{`Viceroy`}` is a person who has been appointed by their peers to serve as a representative in the regulating of a sovereign, government or organization. A member of the gentry class, this appointee has agreed to serve in the forefront, in a position of advisory, working closely with the Regent Council. The origin of the Viceroy began in the 14th century referring to Spanish governors of Sardinia and Corsica. At the end of the 15th century kings of Spain came to appoint viceroys to rule over various parts of the increasingly vast Spanish Empire in Europe, the Americas, and overseas elsewhere.

The Viceroy bestows clear direction and insight from the Gentry class and may serve as Arbiter to the Regent Council.

Regent Council

A [Regent Council] is a governing board who exercises the ruling authority in a kingdom, state or institution. The origin of the regent class was first mentioned between 1350 and 1400 A.D. and was derived from the Latin word regēns meaning ‘to rule”.

These appointed members work in harmony to make decisions on behalf of their peers. Council members strive to educate, uphold and enforce the highest standards as set forth by the group’s laws and principles for all members of the alliance.
